Egyptian giants Al-Ahly has released footballer Hossam Ghaly and the player will now join former club Al-Nassr.

The Saudi Professional League champions have reached an agreement with the player for a one-year contract worth EGP 16 million.

The move sees Ghaly make a return to one of his former clubs. He has earlier played for Al-Nassr in 2009 before returning to Al-Ahly in 2010 on a free transfer.

Al-Nassr has also signed Mohamed Fouzair from FUS Rabat on a three-year deal.

The Saudi club is set to take on Al-Faisaly in their opening game of the Saudi Professional League on August 12.
