Al-Ahly Club has finished contracting procedures with Hossam al-Badry, who will lead the club's football team for the next two seasons.
Badry is expected to sign the contract in the next few hours and will decide, during his meeting with Ahly Club president Mahmoud Taher, the names of his assistant staff.
Badry will oversee Al-Ahly's first team practice on Tuesday, before a match scheduled on Wednesday against the al-Nasr football team.
Taher officially dismissed Juan Carlos Garrido, the team's coach, on Sunday. He then ordered the appointment of an Egyptian coach to lead the team in the remaining matches of both the Premier League and the Confederation, after the team lost in the African Champions League.
