The French junior football team defeated the Moroccans 11-10 in penalty shoot-out as the full time of the final of the third edition of the international Jeem Cup ended in 2-2 draw.
The game, held at Abdullah bin Khalifa stadium in Lekhwiya SC on Wednesday, was attended by Sheikha Moza bint Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani - wife of the Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, Vice-President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al Thani, and Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy Hassan Al Thawadi.
Kuwait won the bronze medal after beating Bahrain 4-2 yesterday.
