FIFA investigator Michael Garcia plans to appeal the conclusions of ethics judge Hans-Joachim Eckert on the corruption probe around the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bids, according to reports.
"Today's decision by the chairman of the adjudicatory chamber contains numerous materially incomplete and erroneous repsentations of the facts and conclusions detailed in the investigatory chamber's report," Garcia was quoted as saying.
"I intend to appeal this decision to the Fifa Appeal Committee."
Garcia conducted the ethics committee investigation and handed his report to the committee's judge Eckert who released his report Thursday, saying that Russia (2018) and Qatar (2022) are clear to host the next World Cups and that the bid process probe was closed.
Garcia also wanted his report to be fully published which has been dismissed by FIFA.
