Novak Djokovic won Wimbledon for the third time on Sunday as he held off Roger Federer 7-6 (7-1), 6-7 (10-12), 6-4, 6-3.
The world number one Djokovic levelled his record against his Swiss rival at 20 wins apiece as he claimed his fifth trophy - and second grand slam this season after Melbourne - of 2015.
Federer had been bidding for history and an eighth title at the All England Club, but was out-gunned by his younger rival, who now owns nine singles titles at the majors.
Djokovic finished with a cross-court forehand winner on match point as he broke Federer.
