H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Honorary President of the UAE Football Association, today met with Gianni Infantino, Secretary-General of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
The pair discussed avenues of cooperation in light of the recent developments in football. They also discussed UEFA's role in developing football.
Sheikh Hazza stressed that the leaders of the UAE take great interest in contributing towards promoting sports across the world due to their wide role in promoting tolerance and constructive competition.
The secretary general of UEFA expressed appreciation for the UAE's contribution, both regionally and internationally, to developing sports and enhancing their role in boosting rapprochement between peoples of the world.
Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Direi, President of the UAE Wrestling, Judo and Kick Boxing Federation, and Yousef Al Serkal, President of the UAE Football Association, attended the meeting.
