The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) handed China the right to host the Asian Football Cup finals in 2023.
During its extraordinary congress here, AFC unanimously voted China as the 2023 Asian Cup hosts after South Korea had withdrawn its bid last month.
China will host the tournament for the second time in its history, as the event was held on its soil in 2004.
