Bouteflika encourages Algerian delegation ahead of Rio Olympics

President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Wednesday transmitted encouragement to the Algerian sports delegation before flying to Rio de Janeiro to compete in the Olympic Games -2016 (OG-2016).

Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal conveyed President Bouteflika encouragement to the athletes present at the Sidi Moussa National Centre (Algiers), in the presence of a number of figures, including Minister of Youth and Sports El Hadi Ould Ali and Prefect of Algiers Abdelkader Zoukh.

Rowers, windsurfers, footballers and Larbi Bouraada (athletics) were present in Sidi Moussa, while the other Algerian athletes qualified to Rio Olympics 2016 are still in training abroad.
