Sepp Blatter has clarified his position as Fifa president and says he will definitely be leaving.
On Thursday he hinted he might seek re-election but has now told Walliser Bote, his local paper: "I am not a candidate, but the elected president. I want to hand over Fifa in good condition."
He said his decision this month to end his reign as Fifa president was "liberating" amid US and Swiss investigations of alleged corruption in the world game.
"It was the only way to take away the pressure from Fifa and my employees, including [pressure] from sponsors," he said.
