Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is set to ignite a bidding war next summer amid interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.
Although the Bundesliga giants are keen on retaining the Germany international, whose contract ends in 2026, they are expecting the two LaLiga heavyweights to submit offers for him next year.
Bayern have already offered Musiala a new contract, and are waiting for a response from the player.
Real Madrid are closely monitoring the 21-year-old’s situation.
Los Blancos may move to secure Musiala's services, either in 2026 as a free agent or next year, if Bayern decides to offload the youngster before his deal expires.
Barcelona, on the other hand, are particularly interested in the attacking midfielder.
Barca president Joan Laporta is keen on making him their star signing in 2025.
However, Bayern Munich are expected to demand around €130 million for the highly-rated player.
Barcelona are currently working on a new deal with Nike, which would give the Catalan giants the financial power to bring in the German.
