Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams over the personal terms of his contract.

The 21-year-old is having the time of his life with Spain at the Euros, and has helped the team reach the final.

Liverpool, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich are all interested in the youngster, but Barca appear to have taken the lead in the race, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.

The Catalan club met with Nico's agent, Felix Tainta, last week to discuss the personal terms.

Barcelona will now work on securing the €58 million needed as a termination clause.

Afterward, they will have to register the young star if they manage to open a gap in the tight salary margin.
