Barcelona have reportedly entered the race for Real Sociedad star midfielder Mikel Merino, as per Relevo.

Barca are confident of beating the likes of Arsenal and Atletico Madrid to the Euro 2024 winner.

New Barcelona boss Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco are working on new deals to strengthen the squad.

Merino is being considered among other targets, such as Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich.

The Spaniard's deal with Real Sociedad is valid until 2025, and he has not yet agreed to an extension.

Therefore, Barcelona, Atletico, and Arsenal are all considering the 28-year-old, who is available for a cut-price fee of €20 million.
