The Arab League has condemned what it called the biased media campaign aiming to cast doubts on Qatar's eligibility for hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In an official statement, the Arab League reaffirmed its commitment to the joint stance expressed by the Gulf Cooperation Council Ministerial Council and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in support of Qatar.
It renewed full support for Qatar in its efforts to become the first Arab country hosting this global event.
