Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has urged his teammate Mohamed Salah to stay at the club beyond the end of the season.

The Egypt international turned down a lucrative move to Al-Ittihad in the summer.

However, it is believed that the Saudi Pro League side is planning another huge bid once the current season concludes.

Alisson spoke to Liverpool's official website and said the following about Salah: “This guy is amazing. I'm so glad to have him in our team. I hope he can break all the records that he has in front of him as long as he keeps the red shirt on him."

Liverpool have had an impressive start to the Premier League this season and are currently just one point behind leaders Manchester City and Arsenal.
