Al-Hilal's newly signed goalkeeper Yassine Bono believes he gave Sevilla everything he could before his departure.

The 32-year-old left the Spanish giants this summer to join Al-Hilal in a three-year deal.

He spent four excellent years at Sevilla and won the UEFA Europa League title twice.

Bono spoke to Marca and revealed that he played against Manchester City in the European Super Cup despite finalizing his move to the Saudi Pro League side earlier.

The Morocco international told the Spanish outlet as quoted by Tribal Football: "I know that the situation was not easy due to the issue of transfers.

"There was a lot of instability and thus it is not easy for the players to focus on the field, but I hope that after the closing of the market, the team will put one hundred percent and with the focus on football. I'm sure this start of the championship will turn around.'

"It was very difficult for me because it was at the last moment. It was difficult to face the last two days and face the Super Cup final, but Sevilla know that I left calmly because I gave up everything while I played."
