The Pro League Committee (PLC) has agreed to re-schedule two of Al Ahli Club’s fixtures in the Arabian Gulf League (AGL) to facilitate their participation in the two-legged final of the AFC Champions League against Guangzhou Evergrande, China.
Al Ahli defeated Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia 4-3 on aggregate last week to book their place in the final against Guangzhou Evergrande to be held on November 7 and 21.
Consequently, Al Ahli’s Round 7 fixture against Dibba will now be played on October 31 instead of October 29. Additionally, the previously-postponed Round 2 fixture between Emirates and Al Ahli will now be played at a date that will be announced later. The match had been previously scheduled for November 2.
