Emmanuel Adebayor may leave Tottenham for Atletico Madrid as he looks for a way out of the White Hart Lane just 10 weeks after sealing a move with the club.
Adebayor has yet to start a match under Andre Villas-Boas, and the Togo international has made his dissatisfaction clear to the Spurs boss.
Atletico, who are enjoying an outstanding start to the La Liga season, are also planning a bid for Adebayor, the Daily Mirror reports.
According to the report, the Colombian striker is also wanted by Chelsea, as well as several other European superpowers.
And Atletico know the European champions could make them an offer they cannot refuse in January,w hich could lead to Adebayor making a swift exit from Spurs and returning to the city where he enjoyed a loan spell at Real Madrid two years ago, the report said.
Despite a successful season-long loan at Spurs last term, he has been left out by AVB in favour of Jermain Defoe, it added. (ANI)
