Egypt has opened a new museum, on 14 July, for the only Arab Nobel laureate writer Naguib Mahfouz, 13 years after his passing. The museum was attended by Mahfouz's daughter Huda, known as Umm Kulthum, his only surviving daughter, besides Minister of Culture Ines Abdel-Dayem and Minister of Antiquities Khaled El-Enani.
