More than hundreds of dogs alongside with their owners have crossed London streets on Sunday (Oct 7) shouting for a new vote on Brexit, known as "wooferendum march". Politicians, actors and activists, all carried thier four-legged friends, all united to join the gathering in order to clarify their opposition to Britain's departure from the EU next year. The U.S. Senate, on October 6, has confirmed with a 48/50 vote the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the nation's highest court. Protesters were unpleased with this decision and they crossed police lines, chanting, "November is coming," with some holding signs "We believe all survivors." Amidst what looked to be an orchestrated media circus, Kavanaugh was sworn in during a private ceremony that included Kavanaugh's wife, children and parents.

Syrian children dream of a brighter future. All Syrian children who fled with their families from the northern countryside of Hama are now back in school. In the begining of October they returned to the makeshift school of "Zuhur al-Mustaqbal" in al-Jeneinah camp for displaced people in the village of Atme, in Syria's mostly rebel-held northern Idlib province. They hold their books and wait in the line happy to attend the first class at the makeshift school. But the future remains uncertain.
