The first Yellow Vest protest since coronavirus lockdown has taken place in Paris on Saturday as the police arrested more than 200 people and fired tear gas to suppress the demonstrators.
The 'Yellow Vest' movement has first kicked off in France in November 2018 and it was named for the yellow high-visibility jackets French motorists carry in their vehicles.
On the other hand, the last Gilet Jaunes protest happened on March 14, three days before France announces total lockdown amid COVID-19 pandemic.
On Saturday protests, the police revealed that they have arrested over 250 people in for questioning and issued warnings to 90 others.
