The clocks stopped on November 25th, after the news of the death of football legend Diego Maradona at the age of 60 due to a heart attack.

Hundreds of people gathered outside the Buenos Aires stadium where Maradona began his career and which has since been renamed in his honour, setting up a makeshift shrine to mark Argentina's legendary number 10.

The UK took a one-minute silence ahead of Liverpool's Champions League match on Wednesday night.

Argentinian president Alberto Fernandez announced three days of national mourning.
