Israel has launched the first ever commercial flight from Ben Gurion Airport, on Monday 31st August, to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through Saudi Arabia's airspace, which is considered a historical move between an Arab country and Israel.
The El Al flight was carrying an Israeli delegation headed by national security adviser Meir Ben-Shabat and US diplomats led by Jared Kushner as he hailed the start of peace bend the UAE and between Israel aurged the rest of the region and the world to “join us.”.
The plane was designed with the words for peace in Arabic, Hebrew and English above the pilot’s window.
The Palestinian Authority denounced the normalization of ties between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi and has also rejected the Trump administration peace plan for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
