90-Year-Old Vietnamese Artist Opens Her 1st Solo Exhibit

Published October 28th, 2020 - 11:02 GMT

Vietnamese artist Mong Bich, Aged around 90, has been preparing for her first solo exhibition while working in her favourite room, checking the light and sits down to paint amazing works.

Bich's "pioneer" artwork has inspired generations of women artists in the country, as she has won plaudits overseas and also she has a watercolour in the British Museum's collection.

However, for several years the artist has been overlooked in her home country -- and has had to wait until this month for her first solo exhibition.
