ALBAWABA - US President Donald Trump was recently accused of blasphemy after taking to Truth Social and sharing an AI-generated photo of himself as Jesus Christ.
The AI image depicts Trump as a "holy figure" healing a sick elderly man as US civilians and what seem to be angels look over him. The photo also featured falcons, military aircraft, the Statue of Liberty, and the American flag.

Many accused the US President of blasphemy and criticized him. A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "He doesn't heal the sick- he takes away healthcare from millions while he helps companies like Walmart- keep people under full time hours so they have no choice but to be on Medicaid and their stock climbs enriching the C suite."
Another added, "MAGA Christians: How could you POSSIBLY defend this?"
Trump's feud with Pope Leo XIV
This comes after the US President criticized Pope Leo XIV following the Head of the Catholic Church's condemnation of the Iran war. Trump told a reporter, "I don't think he's doing a very good job. He likes crime, I guess... I'm not a big fan of Pope Leo. He's a very liberal person, and he's a man that doesn't believe in stopping crime."
In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump said that the Pope is "weak on crime" and "terrible" on foreign policy. The US President added that the Pope was elected as the sovereign of the Vatican City State because he's American, stating further that he wouldn't have been appointed if not for him.
Trump wrote, "I like his brother Louis much better than I like him, because Louis is all MAGA. He gets it, and Leo doesn’t! I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country."
