ALBAWABA - Popular Chinese video-sharing platform, TikTok recently witnessed a surge of posts from users calling for the assassination of US President Donald Trump and Tesla owner Elon Musk amid taking into office on January 2025.
An account called "Theotherotherdarius" took to TikTok and shared a video saying, "Listen... All this Elon Trump stuff... it's getting to a point, man. Like somebody is gonna have to, preferably someone who's already doing it, so you know... one of you all."
He added, "Somebody is just gonna have to throw their life away on this one. You know take one of the team. Somebody just gonna have to get in there and you know... Make history."

Another TikToker also recently took to ByteDance's video-sharing platform and announced "declaring war" on Republicans and the Republican party. He added that if someone is a Republican and decides to interact with them, deserve to die, get shot, or suffer.
The TikToker also added that if a Republican tried to interact with them in real life, they would lose their lives as well, stressing that "this is war." They further stated that Republicans are not American anymore since they've been "naughty."
Another TikTok user also said that Kanye West, Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and JD Vance should get "shot in the brain" when asked about them.
The surge in such clips sparked widespread concern and outrage across several social media platforms, including Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter). Several users reshared the clips and tagged organizations like the FBI and CIA to take serious and immediate action against the individuals in question.
"Jail this guy for life."
"This guy so should obviously be arrested- quickly."
"Make an example of him for violent threats against POTUS and Elon."
Elon Musk was recently appointed by Donald Trump as the head of DOGE (The Department of Government Efficiency), a temporary political department to "modernize federal technology and software to maximize governmental efficiency and productivity."
