ALBAWABA - Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov published a video showing his teenage son Adam beating a man, who was accused of setting the Quran on fire.

Kadyrov posted on Telegram of his son, 15, attacking Nikita Zhuravel, 19, a native Ukrainian, who was jailed in a detention cell for burning a copy of Islam's holy book.

The Chechen President expressed his pride in his son's reaction and how he attacked the prisoner who was accused earlier of burning the Quran.

Kadyrov posted a video showing a young man in khaki clothing (Adam Kadyrov) punching and kicking Nikita Zhuravel before wrestling him to the floor and slapping him on the head.

The head of Chechen wrote on his Telegram channel: "He beat him, and he did the right thing." He added: "Without exaggeration, yes, I am proud of Adam's action."

Moreover, Kadyrov maintained: "Adult ideals of honor, dignity, and defense of his religion."

The post of Kadyrov was shared on social media and many people reacted by saying that infringement on religious books is "wrong" and people who burn or attack any religious book should be harshly punished.

On the other hand, some netizens slammed sharing such brutal content on social media since there are kids and teenagers using the platforms claiming that they could grow to be violent.

A person wrote: "He deserves what he deserves and more. But I feel that the clip contains violence and I don't think this should be shared online due presence of different ages on social media."
