ALBAWABA - US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently raised eyebrows after people noticed that there was something off about the bible verse he recited during a Pentagon worship service this week.

Videos of the Pentagon worship service flooded social media as users recognized that Hegseth's verse resembled a fake Bible quote from Quentin Tarantino's 1994 hit movie, Pulp Fiction.

According to Newsweek, the Defense Secretary said the prayer was known as "CSAR 25:17," which was recited "Sandy 1" during the Iran war rescue mission.

Hegseth said before reciting the fake bible verse, "This prayer was recited by Sandy 1, to all Sandys, all those A‑10 crews, prior to all CSAR missions, but especially this CSAR mission that happened in real time." He added, "They call it CSAR 25:17, which I think is meant to reflect Ezekiel 25:17."

The US Defense Secretary then recited the verse and said, "The path of the downed aviator is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of comradery and duty shepherd the lost through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to capture and destroy my brother. And you will know my call sign is Sandy One, when I lay my vengeance upon thee. Amen."

This comes as Pete Hegseth faces multiple calls of impeachment from the US House Democrats due to his actions in the Iran war, including accusations of poor handling of sensitive military information and war crimes.
