ALBAWABA - On Sunday, a shooting attack took place in Sydney's Bondi Beach, leaving 16 people killed, including one of the gunmen, and 42 others injured during a Jewish celebration.

The police said that 16 people were killed at the shooting scene, and they were aged between 10 and 87. A Hanukkah celebration was held at Australia's Bondi Beach when two gunmen opened fire at the crowd at 6.47 p.m. local time, the police said.

A father and his son were identified as the terrorist attackers. Although the Australian police have not revealed the names of the shooters, the media declared them as Naveed Akram and his father, Sajid Akram.

According to the Home Affairs Minister, Tony Burke, Naveed Akram is an Australian-born citizen, while his father arrived in 1998 on a student visa, transferred in 2001 to a partner visa, and, after trips overseas, had been on resident return visas multiple times.

Social media users have been sharing threatening posts against Naveed Akram, who was identified as one of the gunmen in the attack in Australia.

A man from Sydney, Australia, has complained about getting death threats on social media, but he decided to respond.

A video was posted online of a man speaking up about being threatened to be executed after the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach, and the reason because his name is Naveed Akram.

The other Naveed Akram said that people are falsely accusing him of being related to the attack, and they are sharing his information and pictures instead.

He said in the video, "The shooter is Naveed Akram, and my name is Naveed Akram." The Sydney man added, "Some of the social media accounts have been taking my pictures from my Facebook account, and they are linking them to the shooter."

The other Naveed Akram continued, "So, I'm gonna clearly tell everyone that that is not me and I have nothing to do with that incident or the shooting."

Akram expressed that he is "very stressed and scared," and he "cannot even go outside safely" amid fears over his life.
