The clip was widely spread across several social media outlets and further showcased the TikToker jumping into the water where he got swallowed by the waves and went missing.
According to Al Arabiya, the Moroccan man was accompanied by his friend and brother. Local authorities have filed an investigation with the TikToker's friends and brother, who were present at the scene.

By the time of reporting, the TikToker is still missing but local authorities dispatched rescue boats and diving teams into the sea, and are on high alert.
The clip sparked widespread outrage across social media, as several locals pointed out the dangers of such TikTok challenges while also criticizing the lengths young adults and teenagers go to for going viral at the cost of their lives.
Morocco has witnessed a rise in similar TikTok challenges, leading to several accidents and tragically, the loss of young lives, including children and teenagers.
