ALBAWABA On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health announced the closure of a dermatology clinic in the private healthcare sector, the suspension of a doctor, and his referral to the medical liability body. This action followed the circulation of news about an alleged plastic surgery for a 12-year-old girl.
Previously, the Ministry of Health had confirmed the establishment of an inspection team to investigate a cosmetic procedure performed on a child at a clinic in the private healthcare sector.
In a statement posted on its official social media account on X.com (formerly Twitter), the Ministry emphasized that the formation of this team and the investigation aimed to ensure the proper delivery of healthcare services in accordance with scientific and technical protocols. Additionally, the investigation aimed to ensure compliance with professional ethics and standards.
