ALBAWABA - The official X account of senior Iranian politician Ali Larijani shared an undated handwritten message by Iran's secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.
Israel announced targeting Larijani and 10 other senior officials in the Islamic Republic on Monday's attacks. Later on, Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed the attack killed the security chief along with other officials.
Israeli Channel 14 also mentioned that Gholamreza Soleimani, a senior officer in the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and commander of the paramilitary Basij forces, was also targeted in the attack.
"Larijani and the Basij commander were eliminated overnight and joined the head of the annihilation program, Khamenei, and all the eliminated members of the axis of evil, in the depths of hell," Katz revealed during an assessment this morning.

A handwritten message by Ali Larijani was posted on his X account, reading, "In the martyrdom of the brave sailors, the most important thing in the history of the nation is the sacrifices of the brave nation. At this time, the fight against the oppressors has reached its peak."
The letter continued, "The scene is as if the soldiers are fighting in distant places in the name of protecting the interests of our country with all the hardships and difficulties. Their memory will remain in the hearts of the Iranian nation. And this martyrdom will strengthen the foundation of the Islamic Republic Army for many years in terms of structure and strength. I ask God Almighty to grant me the highest degree of freedom, dear Akhmandar."
The account captioned the letter, "On the occasion of the funeral ceremony for the valiant martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Navy: Their memory will forever remain in the heart of the Iranian nation, and these martyrdoms will strengthen the foundation of the Islamic Republic's Army for years to come within the structure of the armed forces."
