ALBAWABA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was mocked by social media users after a photo went viral where the leader was reportedly seen wearing high heels during his trip to Europe.

Zelensky landed in Brussels on Oct. 23, where he met European Council President Antonio Costa, before joining the European Council meeting.

Costa said during a press conference before the meeting that the EU "will support Ukraine as long as necessary and at any cost."

Activists online allegedly claimed that Zelensky wore shoes that added 6 cm to his tall, so he could look a bit taller and appear in a good way next to European leaders.

An X user shared the image and mockingly wrote, "How is it that Zelensky wear heels this big but is still always shorter than every politician he takes photos with."

It is worth mentioning that Volodymyr Zelensky's reported height is around 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm), based on sources like IMDb and Wikipedia, though some comparisons suggest he is shorter.

However, the viral photo turned out to be a fake one and was edited using new technology, but the Ukrainian leader did wear a shoe that made him look higher during his visit to Brussels.

Another commented, "This photo isn’t real, but the claim is true: Zelensky loves wearing high heels."
