ALBAWABA - Social media users have been sharing a scene from the popular American series, The Simpsons, after noticing a strange similarity between one of its episodes and the case of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his popular island.

In an episode from season 12 titled "The Computer Wore Menace Shoes," which aired in 2000, many years before the Epstein scandal was publicly revealed, a disturbing scene appears that reminds viewers today of Epstein's infamous private island, which is linked to the child sex abuse scandal.

In this episode, written by John Swartzwelder and directed by Mark Kirkland, the main character, Homer Simpson, creates a website to spread rumors and fake news, called "Mr. X".

Among the many conspiracy theories he promotes, a pop-up message on his site reads: "Attention: Some crazy creeps on an island are secretly running the world."

Social media users, particularly on Reddit and X, were quick to share their reactions, ranging from surprise to disbelief. 

Some wondered, "Did Simpson predict it, or did he know about it?" while others felt the episode "aligned" with the facts that later emerged.

A year ago, Many posted a video from one episode of the famous American TV show and allegedly said that The Simpsons predicted Stephen Hawking's attendance at Epstein's Island.
