ALBAWABA - Shocking new files were released days ago by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead inside his jail cell on August 10, 2019.
DOJ shared three million pages, 180,000 images, in addition to 2,000 videos, to the public on Friday, according to the BBC.
"Today's release marks the end of a very comprehensive document identification and review process to ensure transparency to the American people and compliance," Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche revealed.
What do the newly released Epstein files include?
According to the BBC report, the newly released Epstein files have new information about Epstein's time in prison, including a psychological report, and his death.
They also show investigative records on Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's partner, who is also in jail after being convicted of helping him traffic underage girls.
They also include emails between Epstein and high-profile figures, including a person called "The Duke," who is believed to be Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, previously known as Prince Andrew.
Photo of baby leg between chickens draws mixed reactions: Is it really in the Epstein files?
A half-redacted photo circulated on social media, said to be showing a baby leg between two chickens, has sparked wild debate online after activists posted it, claiming that it was released from the Epstein files by the DOJ last Friday.
Many people reposted the image and wondered about how dark the Epstein files are going or how much shocking and horrible stuff happened on his island.
A person posted on X and wrote a caption, "An image in the Epstein files is redacted and shows something between two pieces of chicken that looks like a baby. You can see the babies leg…… People better hang soon!!!"
Another said, "A very bizarre picture of two chickens with something [redacted] in between. The foot sticking out in the middle is visibly different from a chicken leg."
One refuted that it is linked to the Epstein files, adding that the photo is fake and edited. "It's fake. I could tell simply by zooming in and seeing the obvious traits of a shitty photoshopping," the person commented.
On the other hand, some activists said that the image showing chickens and a bizarre leg in between is not related to Epstein, but it reportedly depicts a photoshopped nude adult man posed as a chicken in a 2003 erotic artwork by an artist called Harald Seiwert, and it doesn't show a real baby.
