ALBAWABA - Amid the ongoing tariff war between China and the US, Chinese people are striking back by taking to social media and "exposing" US brands that reportedly mark up products manufactured in China, by only slapping a logo on them.

Take into account that these claims are made by Chinese marketers on social media, advertising their companies' manufacturing expertise and impressive pricing. Several marketers claim they can make "high-quality" products this cheap because their companies handle the manufacturing directly.

Some targeted American and Canadian brands, like Under Armour and Lululemon. They claimed that Chinese manufacturing companies such as Xianglong Apparel and Hongqisheng Clothing provide these corporations with OEM stock ranging from as cheap as $1 to $8. However, Under Armour would reportedly buy and sell the stock to American citizens for more than triple the price.

Some marketers took jabs at various American sportswear brands such as Nike and New Balance, claiming that they get their shoes made by Chinese manufacturers like YYsports and Foxconn.

While several made examples like the ones mentioned above, other Chinese marketers took a different approach, by advertising counterproducts of popular brands in the US to promote more trade deals with China, including cleaning products, LED signs, manufactured homes, fashion, and many more.

As of recently, a man named "Tony" has taken the internet by storm after swarming several social media platforms with hilarious skits to promote LED signs for a company called LC Signs. It didn't take long for the company's socials to erupt in popularity across the globe, thanks to Tony's humor and charming personality.

His famous "3-year-warranty" claim on products and his popular phrase "What's up homie, it's Tony" became a staple in the videos, showcasing trust and great customer service.
