ALBAWABA - Egyptians have been shocked by the horrific crime in which a 13-year-old boy killed his friend and then he used a chainsaw to cut his body parts.
The incident took place in the Ismailia Governorate in Egypt when the child murdered his schoolmate after luring him to his apartment, taking advantage of the absence of any of his family members.
The teenage boy killed his classmate and then brought an electric saw belonging to his father, who works as a carpenter, and dismembered his classmate's body.
Egypt's security forces had received a report from people that the remains of an unidentified child had been found near the Ismailia Carrefour area. The police launched a probe to discover that he was killed at the hands of his school friend, noting that his family reported him missing.
Investigations confirmed that the little Egyptian boy had cut off his classmate's body after killing him, and turned his body into small pieces with a chainsaw so they could be easily placed inside his school bag.
The child then carried his school bag containing his classmate's remains and threw it in a waste area behind Carrefour Mall, far from the crime scene, so that no one would suspect him.
The police outlined that the child attempted to imitate a scene from a violent movie or video game. In his confession, he stated that he carried out the crime in the exact manner he had seen on screen.
The Public Prosecution ordered the defendant's detention for 15 days pending investigations and decided to refer him to a specialized committee to assess his psychological and mental state at the time of the crime.
