ALBAWABA - The birth gender of France's First Lady, Brigitte Macron, is still causing wide fuss across France.
Brigitte has recently discovered that she is registered as a male on the official tax website of the European country, according to local outlet L’essentiel.
BFMTV released a new documentary confirming that Brigitte Macron filed a lawsuit after figuring out that her name had been changed to "Jean-Michel" on the official French tax website, raising more doubts about her real birth gender.

Another media outlet, RTL, said that the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron immediately filed a complaint, and the Élysée is investigating how the name was changed. The report revealed that Brigitte discovered this shocking change in September 2024, when she tried to access her personal account on the tax portal.
On the other hand, authorities in France have reportedly identified two people with links to the name change on the tax website, RTL reported.
The Macrons' family had earlier filed a lawsuit against American commentator Candace Owens for promoting a false claim online that Brigitte Macron was born as a mail and allegedly saying it will show evidence to support her claim.
Brigitte Macron had been facing online harassment and continuous theories falsely claiming the first lady was born male under the name "Jean-Michel Trogneux," which is in fact Brigitte's brother's name.
