ALBAWABA - United States Republican Representative Tim Walberg caused quite a stir across social media among pro-Palestine and human rights activists after his baffling comments on the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The American politician went on to add that Israel should get it done quickly, just like Japan's Hiroshima and Nagasaki referring to the catastrophic nuclear bomb in 1945 which killed 129,000 to 226,000 Japanese people on impact.

Here's what he said in the video being shared across X (formerly known as Twitter):

"We shouldn’t be spending a dime on humanitarian aid. It should be like Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Get it over quick." This comment angered many pro-Palestine activists as they took to the comment sections multiple posts and referred to Tim as "disgusting, disturbing and evil".

The video in question was allegedly taken on Mar. 25 in a small village called Dundee located in Michigan, USA. The individual went on to add that "Israel is America's greatest ally and we shouldn't be spending money and humanitarian aid" as mentioned above.

Israel's ongoing aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of more than 32,705 Palestinians of whom are innocent children.

Additionally, at least 75,190 are injured from the continued attacks and 27 children are malnutrition victims, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases, and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.
