Bahrain's Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Wednesday for talks with President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
They discussed bilateral ties and exchanged views on the latest developments in light of the global anti-terrorism campaign.
The president and the emir also focused their talks on the current situation in Palestine, in the shadow of ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.
The two Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders stressed the need for solidarity among Arabs.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Hamad thanked Sheikh Zayed for his support for development in his country in regard to a Zayed-financed housing complex, which was recently opened, said the Emirates’ official news agency (WAM).
