Singer Youssef Jrifi won on Saturday the first prize of the ninth edition of the “Spring of Moroccan Song” Festival. This event was held in Marrakech (May 27 to 28). Jrifi received the first prize for his cover to the song of Mohamed Hiyani, "Kisat Al Achouak".
The second prize in the Festival was awarded to Saida Lbaki, who did a cover to a song of Moroccan diva Naima Samih, "Hada Hali". As for the third place, it was won by Rachida Derkaoui for her cover to a song of Ghita Ben Abdesslam, "Ya dak Lghafel".
EMarrakech reported that the Festival was organized by the Free Union of Moroccan Musicians with the support of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture.
