The young Moroccan athlete, Said Salibi, died Monday in Padla (Madrid suburbs) following a heart failure, his friends said.
According to MAP, Salibi, 22, entered the Moroccan athletics institute in 1999. He joined the team of world champion Hicham El Guerrouj in 2001.
Last month, he went to Spain where he participated in three competitions, which he won all. The lastest competition in which he participated took place last Saturday.
