Yemen's foreign minister Abu Bakr al-Qerbi said that the rebellious al-Houthi wanted to gain the sympathy of Arab nations when he has raised the flag of Lebanese party Hizbullah.

"Hizbullah fights Israeli occupation but al-Houthi is apostate and out law," al-Qerbi said in an interview with the Egyptian al-Ahram Arabi magazine.

Al-Qerbi added that the activities in a number of religious schools and mosques were put under control. According to him, the government policy to control religious schools would not include only schools belong to al-Houthi, but also religious schools being run by other institutions in the country.
