Yemen: Suspects in attack on French tanker allowed to appeal

The Sana'a Court of Appeal on Saturday allowed to the 15 suspects of the Limburg bombing to present their documents of appeal in session next Saturday.


On August 28, the Primary Court sentenced Hizam Majalli to death for killing police officer Hamid Khasroof, and sentenced the five suspected bombers of the Limburg for the three to ten years in jail.

According to SABA, brothers Fawaz Al-Rabee and Abu Bakr Al-Rabee were fined YR 18 million for damages they inflicted on the headquarters of the Civil Aviation & Meteorology Authority with a car bomb.

 

The attack on the French tanker took place on October 6, 2002. One person was killed.
