Yemen and Saudi Arabia on Sunday launched the handover of border sites in the eastern area in accordance with Jeddah Border Treaty approved by the two sides on June 12, 2000.

The Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal underlined in a press conference on Saturday that the process of handing over the border sites is a process of exchanging based on interests of local inhabitants, denying any problems in this regard.

According to SABA, the Saudi minister pointed out that the Jeddah treaty inked between the two sides had helped to increase trade exchange and investments.
