Yemen Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Querbi and an accompanying delegation left Monday on their way to China for a several-day visit to the country.
In a statement to SABA news agency upon departure, Al-Querbi said that the visit aimed to create a real partnership between Yemen and China, in particular in the economic and trade fields as well as strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Moreover, he expressed his hope that the Chinese role in the Security Council to implement the UN resolutions concerning the Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian territories and setting up a Palestinian state would be effective, the agency added. (Albawaba.com)
