The latest report issued by the Yemeni authorities at the Sana'a international airport indicated that about 90 pieces of ancient antiquities and manuscripts have been confiscated at the airport when travelers were trying to smuggle them out of the country.
According to SABA, among the pieces confiscated were eight manuscripts related to arts for Imam Hussein Bin Abdullah Bin Allawi Bin Zaid Al-Habashi, a manuscript dated back to 1317 A.H for Baiee and Shira'a ( Demand and Supply) or ( Selling and Purchase), a manuscript entitled " Al-Baian Al-Shafi Al-Montaza'a Min Al-Burhan Al-Kafi for Imam Immad Addin Yahia Bin Ahmed Bin Al-Mudhafar made in two parts, other pieces of antiquities were in the form of ancient guns dated back to hundreds of years ago, other sculptures, bronze statuses for human and animals in addition to old coins.
