Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle in the provincial administration replacing three provincial governors following a recent cabinet reshuffle, reported the official Saba news agency.

Sanaa mayor Hussein Al-Maswari was replaced by MP Ahmed Mohammed Al-Kuhlani, said the agency, adding that Hadhramout governor Saleh Obad Al-Khawlani was replaced by Abdul Kader Ali Hilal, who had been the governor of Ibb Province.

The agency added that Al-Khawlani was named also under-secretary of the local administration ministry.

Prime Minister Abdul Kader Bajammal formed a new government on April 4, with newcomers given 23 of the country's 35 ministerial posts, including the key portfolios of foreign affairs, defense and oil - Albawaba.com
