Yemen’s Vice Speaker of Parliament, Yahya Ali al-Raee, returned home Monday from China after participating in the third meeting of Asian parliamentarians that took place in Beijing.
On his arrival, al-Raee said the meeting was successful as its recommendations confirmed that the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Palestinian territories is a must for obtaining peace and development throughout the Middle East region, SABA reported.
Al-Raee added that the meeting also reviewed issues related to the economy and globalization, and that he met with heads of parliament delegations and discussed with them the possibility of mutual cooperation between Yemeni parliament and Arab counterparts, the News Agency added. (Albawaba.com)
