ALBAWABA- Top Houthi leader Abdul Malik Al-Houthi has announced a significant expansion of their efforts to prevent the passage of ships linked to Israel, extending their blockade to the Indian Ocean and the Cape of Good Hope Road in South Africa.

Al-Houthi emphasized the strategic importance of this move, indicating that operations to enforce the blockade have already commenced in the Indian Ocean and South Africa.

He attributed this escalation to American aggression, which he believes has exacerbated regional tensions and widened the conflict.

Asserting their determination, Al-Houthi stated their intent to continue and expand operations to unexpected areas, signaling a readiness to confront perceived adversaries.

Additionally, Al-Houthi criticized American and British support for Israel's actions in Gaza, condemning the continued suffering of Palestinians. He warned that they would not remain passive in the face of such injustice.

In a related development, Ansar Allah media reported airstrikes by the American-British coalition on the Ras Issa area in Al-Salif District, following previous raids on Hodeidah.
