Head of the National Committee for Atomic Energy, Dr. Mustafa Bahran, left for Vienna on Monday for a several-day visit, during which he is set to meet with officials of the International Agency for Atomic Energy (IAAE).
Bahran, who also serves as the advisor for Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh for Science and Technology, told SABA on departure that he would review with IAAE's officials cooperation between Sanaa and the agency in the field of protection from radiation.
He added that Yemen currently has well-trained teams and needed regulations to control radiation, mainly in the industrial sphere. (Albawaba.com)
